Newsletter - September/October 2020

Welcome back to our returning children and families, welcome to our new children at Nursery and Pre-School. Welcome back to the rest of the Oakmere Team.

Following Government guidance, it is still not possible for parents to enter Nursery and Pre-School, we will continue to greet you at the front doors. If you see that they are in their room, the 2-3 Room can exit through the side fire door. Whenever there are any changes in our procedures we will let you know.

Our themes for September are ‘Space’ and ‘Letters’ and for October are ‘Halloween’ and ‘Autumn’.

Staff News

• We welcome Natalie back to work as Baby Room Leader.
• Skye has finished her Apprenticeship with us.

Diary dates – * subject to changes in Government guidance

• * Thursday 29th October - Portrait Photographs with Bounce Photography. If your child doesn’t attend that day but you’d like a photo, please come in around 10 am, likewise if older siblings are off school they are welcome to come for a group photo.
• Friday 30th October – Halloween Party. Your child can come dressed in a Halloween costume.

Tapestry will be resuming as usual, the report schedule will take into account the number of months each child has been absent. If you have any problems logging into Tapestry please let us know. You are always welcome to come in and discuss your child’s progress with their Key Worker.
